What is it with everyone in the Vegan community saying meat analogue all of a sudden?
What the fuck is a meat analogue anyway? Clocks are anologue not meat.
If we're going to invent words to describe meat alternatives doesn't it make more sense to use something a bit more appealing to the masses - like "Better Than Meat" or "Magical Power Inducing Wholesome Deliciousness".

heehee...you're too funny. i've never heard that phrase...is it supposed to be faux (as in fake)meat? that's what we yanks call it.
I concur. Meat alalogue is a stupid term! I'm sticking with faux, or just 'meat'.
You tell 'em Jeni! :o)
I invented a now word! well, acronym... LOV!! it stands for Lacto-ovo-Vegetarian!
Thats me!!
I am a robot eating my chewy analog. 101010100.
I prefer it when places come up with different names. I don't like to see "chicken" on a menu from a vegan restaurant. One place finally changed theirs from meat names to new names ;-).
