Vegan MoFo 2009 Day #24: Bread take two

TADAA! I've done it - I have made good tasty bread in my new bread machine. WooHooo! The recipe is from Allinson Bread booklet and is as thus: White Bread 1 1/8 cups of water 2 1/4 Tablespoons Sugar 1 1/4 teaspoons Salt 2 1/2 Tablespoons Sunflower Oil 3 cups strong white bread flour 1 1/4 teaspoons Allinson Easybake Yeast Put everything in the bread machine in the order given and set on "Basic". How easy peasy is that. I had some for my lunch spread with Tartex - it is super delicious. This has given my confidence a real boost and I can't wait to go to the supermarket and get some special ingredients and start making some fancy bread.
GO VEGAN!
GO MoFo!!

Wow, that sounds so simple but it looks SO good! Congrats on your bread making success, can't wait to see what you come up with next. There's nothing like the smell of fresh baked bread, is there?

This looks very good. I do not have a bread machine so making bread is a long and annoying venture. :(

Yowza!
Congratulations on your perseverance and your rewarding result!

Thanx to you I got my old and mutilated (the hubster always forgot to take the kneading hooks out of the loaf when cuttung the bread with our cutting machine *ouch*) breadmachine out of the basement, - and though I had already mastered the sourdough beast in the past, - and to some success at that... all this feeding the beast and stuff got too overwhelming and I resorted back to buying bread.

I hereby swear, - nomore, nomore!!!!

I hope to have some recipes and success stories to share.

Thank you Jeni!!!!
